Games Games Games!

So, this week has been a bit ridiculously game-filled. First, Patapon finally came out on the 26th, but I didn't get mine until the 27th. They say it takes about 15 hours to finish, and I've already put in about 12. The game is amazingly complex and I think the game reviews do a good job of describing it. It's sort of...easily difficult. I say that because it is very easy to lose battles, but you get to start right back up again right after. It's very nice to have that.

Last night, I went to my friend's house and downloaded a few demos. Devil May Cry 4 on the PS3, and God of War: Chains of Olympus and the Harvey Birdman demo for PSP. I really enjoyed all of the. I only played the first DMC, but I really liked it. DMC3 looks to be very cool (I want Dante's hair). Actually, GoW also looks VERY GOOD. I can't wait...another game to save up for. Harvey Birdman was hilarious to play too, but I'm not a fan of the show.

A couple friends from home came to visit for the weekend too, so there were quite a few people in the house. I later realized just how spoiled Asian kids are. Haha

Let's see...between the 8 people in the house, we had:
- 11 computers (9 laptops, 2 built/gaming rig-desktops)
- a 4-car garage, but 6 cars (4 of which were of "luxury make")
- 5 television sets (all ranging between 25 and 50 inches, 3 of which were hi-def)
- 4 iPhone owners (3 iPhones were actually present)
- 6 different video game systems (GC, Wii, 360, PS3, PSP, DS)

I know this is an extreme case, but I still find it very hard to believe that this kind of consumption can be found among the others on campus.
