Love Song Together

I literally spent the last TWO hours "getting" this song. I couldn't find a good version of it online, so I decided to rip it from my DVD instead. And whoooo.....ALL those little technicalities forced me to download and install so many programs (many of which didn't/couldn't even get the job done).

Anyways, it's a really good song that tugs your heartstrings if you let it. I cut out the last 2.5 minutes of it though because it's the same thing on repeat.

Memory Lane Called "Long A"

Props to anyone who gets the title of this entry.

The other day, I was writing a psych paper and mentioned Counter-Strike. As a result, I immediately installed CS on my computer after I finished the paper. Hahaha! And boy was I taking names with my TMP-strafe! Some guy was bragging about how he was playing for 5 years. The convo sort of went like this...

Guy 1: Hacker!
Guy 2: Haha I've been playing this game for 5 years.
Me: Just 5? I've been playing 7-8 years.
Guy 3: What are you like 30?
Me: Haha no 22. Does anyone remember 1.3?
Guy 2: I do. Rosier (my new CS handle) for that props to you.

That's right. I got internet props for my veteran status as a CSer. Anywho, I couldn't help but reminisce about all the times I used to play CS with my friends. We even formed our own clan...X7s. I don't even remember what it stood for, but that's because we just wanted something that sounded cool first and foremost.

Those were good times...some real good times... I always get choked up thinking about the past. T_T

Goon Hei Fallout

Poor Edison. For those of you that don't know, HK "actor" and "singer" has been the center of HK gossip lately because he had many photographs of him and other HK female celebrities of adult and pornographic nature. The photographs were lifted from his computer after he took it in to get it fixed. Haha

First off, I'll have you know that there is no love lost from me. I don't like Edison because he's nothing but a talentless punk that wants to get socked in the face. For the most part, I also don't have any misgivings about the females that have been spotlighted in the crossfire, with the exception of Cecilia, whom I am a fan of. Buuuuut...stupid girls are stupid girls. If there's one thing I hate about [disclaimer: some] women, it's how stupid they can be sometimes and get taken in by hacks like Edison. You can call it naivete or alcohol, I still call you an idiot.

Moving on, I saw this on CNN.com yesterday. In the video, Edison says he's leaving the HK entertainment industry "indefinitely," which is good. However, I heard from a friend that he's moving into "Hollywood," which is bad. But I haven't read anything more credible backing this. Either way, maybe Hollywood won't be that bad...I'll get to enjoy seeing him get eaten alive. Hahahaha

But, I'm not as heartless as I seem. I do feel SOME sympathy for him, since it is a story of success and tragic downfall.

Frozen in Time

The battery in my beloved watch is dead. It died on Friday night at apparently, almost exactly 3AM. I love this watch, and I've been wearing Fossil watches only for the past 8 years or so already. It's really too bad that current Fossil models mostly have leather bands and/or very cluttered chronograph style faces. I really like the non-cluttered, non-flashy, black colored face. A good, yet college-student affordable one is so rare these days!

I still remember buying this particular one before the high school prom, with the intention of starting a "new life" in college. I really hate to see it in such condition 3 months before graduation. I'm going to send it in for repair soon though...hang in there bro!

Host Weekend

A lot's happened since my last update, I think. For one, a couple of my friends came to visit for the weekend and I'm super excited. The weekend's been super fun so far, and I just came back from two fun nights of host club-related events. And the weekend's not even over yet! Haha

Also, I've been keeping up with my workout schedule, and interesting, I can already "see results." I love being a thin as I am...haha. Tomorrow is lower body...but with all the fun happening around me, I dunno when I'll have time? Plus I've got Formula, a lab report, an exam, and another project coming up...urrrrgh.

On a different note, I want to send my prayers and condolences to the victims and families at NIU. It is without question a very tragic event and something that I pray never happen again. But I think this raises a very important issue - gun control. With the elections coming up, gun control should have some mention from the candidates. Gun control has always been a heated debate, and I know that many politicians avoid the debate because they don't want to alienate a lot of people. But seriously - how many college shootings do we need until we realize that it's too easy to purchase guns? I'm not saying I have a solution, but I know something has to be done.

PON-PON-PATA-PON

I'm back at school from a pretty relaxing and refreshing weekend. I'm becoming more and more comfortable with the idea of graduating and finishing up my last several weeks of school now - it really just depends on my outlook.

Today, I FINALLY got my Patapon demo. And I beat it already. It's pretty simple and straightforward, but it did take a bit of getting used to the game and getting the rhythms and patterns down. I got my special spear at the end and I can't wait to play the game when it comes out this month. (February 26, 2008!)

MAN - my new laptop will be coming in tomorrow, but I don't know how much time I'll have to play with it. I'm going to be busy...Formula, psych paper, ME project, econ homework, AND host club this week. But Yukari's coming to visit this weekend and it's gonna be mad fun!

Also, I'm implementing my new workout plan this week. 1.25 hours reserved for 4 days each week...cardio and lifting. I did not do any exercise at all last semester for whatever reason, so I need to get back into shape. I've lost all of my form and it makes me sad. =( Haha...

New Goals

Life's been pretty hectic lately, with interviews and projects and everything else. I've been feeling quite stressed and am looking for ways to alleviate it. So yesterday, Tony and I went to Sports Authority to buy some additions to my workout attire. My goal is to do about an hour a day for 4 days each week. So now that it's written - so let it be done!

My new laptop is coming in on Monday. My Patapon demo is ready to be picked up. And Patapon will be released in a couple weeks. When it rains it pours!
